Phuket - DAY 1

SAWADEE KA. Blogging this now in Phuket, Thailand.

First day,

I was really excited. Got ready and everything. As usual, all trips, well mine in particular, starts off with a BAD START.

Maxine wasn't feeling really well since like yesterday or the day before.

Second thought, I'm back in Malaysia now. Couldn't really blog there. Internet too slow. Couldn't upload pictures. Anyways, I'm back! YAY! fast internet ;DD JOY~

I should have made notes on what I did that day. I have bad memory. I'm still tired. BRAIN NOT FUNCTIONING WELL :X Hope I don't miss out anything :/

Anyways, where were we?

BAD START. As always. @.@ I FORGOTTEN TO BRING MY HEADPHONES T.T

Well, at least we didn't miss our flight this time.

Went to Terminal LCC or is it called LCC Terminal? LCCT? Low Cost Carrier Terminal.

LOTS OF PEOPLE

We didn't have to wait long to get on board on our flight. Guess all the time was wasted on lining up and waiting for checking in, security checks and passport checking. :/

Around one hour passed or so, we finally reached our destination! PHUKET!!! :DD

The time frame is one hour earlier in Phuket to Malaysia. So if it's 11:00AM in Malaysia, It's 10:00AM in Phuket.

Bright sunny morning in Phuket

We rented a car. I don't think Phuket have much public transportation. Most of the people here use motorbikes to get here and there. And I heard taxi's are extremely expensive there.

Off we went on our adventure to...

FIND OUR HOTEL.

and we FINALLY FOUND IT! YAYYYY!!!!

OUTRIGGER!!! AWESOME PLACE!!!! THE VILLAS WERE BEAUTIFUL! AWESOME MAX! I had a wonderful stay there. Highly recommend. IT'S JUST EFFING AWESOME KAY!!!! :DDDD (Y)

Okay, so OUTRIGGER is under LAGUNA in Phuket.

THIS IS THE MAP OF THE WHOLE LAGUNA AREA

IT'S EFFINN BIG. LIKE SERIOUSLYYYYY. I think it's as big as the whole DJ area.

BATH SET! 

I somehow have an current obsession with bath stuff. I don't know whyyy ;x GUESS YOU CAN GET ME HIGH QUALITY BATH STUFF PLEASE 8D or no. But I wouldn't be able to enjoy it to the max. If only I have a BATH TUB! :(

The reception lobby also have a library. ZOMG! AWESOME MUCH?!

AND YOU CAN BORROW DVD's FOR FREE! 2 per day :D

After hanging for a few minutes in the library, drinking tea. Our room was soon ready.

Our Villa is just in front of the reception lobby. SUPER CONVENIENT =D

THIS KITCHEN IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN MINE AT HOME. IT HAS AN OVEN! 8D AND THE MICROWAVE IS MUCH BETTER AND THE STOVE TOO!

Overall, the Villa is AWESOME. period.

After we settled down, we went out finding some food for lunch.

We ate bak kut teh for lunch. YUMMEHHHHHHHH! The pork was sooo tender and yummyyy

After lunch, we just drove around....

We followed a sign up to a mountain to see the big Buddha

On the way up the mountain. Maxine spotted a monkey show thing. Anything she ask, she'll get. >___<

IT'S EFFFINNGGG EXPENSIVEEE. NOT WORTH IT. AT ALL. NO OFFENCE.

After that, we continue our way up the mountain.

We then went up the hill some more and TADAH

When the ride was over, Max went crying like a BABY.

After that we went to Tesco and bought some stuff and ate there.

I had SUBWAY.

It's awfully over-priced. LIKE. SERIOUSLY. NO?

And then, WE GOT LOST

We trusted the GPS. But it FAILED us.

Went circling the place for about 2 HOURS! It was super scary. So dark some more :/

Since Phuket has like a lot of small roads that the GPS couldn't identify.

The stupid GPS couldn't even identify the roads in the area we're staying at.

This complete area, couldn't be identified and lots more other areas in Phuket

I think we took the wrong turn SEVERAL TIMES. Besides that, the area is HUGE, so it takes quite some time to drive here to there.

Eventually, my dad had to stop many times and ask for directions.

Bless that guy who offered to show us the way.
